I'll probably be moving the site today. Well, replacing this part with the new site. There's gonna be some broken product links probably and lots of other broken crap, but I'm working on moving the content so it will *HOPEFULLY* be a smooth transition. Anyone who has signed up will have to sign up again because I'm switching databases and stuff. Anyway, yeah. Back to work.

The more I think about this, the more I change my mind about how all this will work. I've now decided that rather than have lots of different categories like the IMVU website, I'll do a sort of mall type thing. So I would have a little shop for hair or gothloli clothing or swimwear or intimates. Of course, the non-pro dev will still be the highlight and the stores will only feature the best. So I guess now I'm going to spend some time designing these shops before I start gather products for them, though I have contacted a couple people about it.
There is the possibility that I will stick with the category options but also allow the seperate stores. That way there's even more possibility for buyers to see more items.

While I worked hard on this layout and it worked perfectly for several months, it's time to move on to something else so I can better accomodate (sp?) the other users I w ould like to bring into this site. I feel that the compressed space I have to work in is too small, sometimes I feel like maybe this CMS isn't the "right" one, but I don't know what all will go down. =D I may end up moving to the dreaded PHP nuke or something. >> Or maybe I will create a new site all together. Maybe I'll scratch this whole idea and stick with what I've got. ;D rofl... Okay, so anyway, over the next few days, there's gonna be some big changes to get ready for people to be able to sign up and submit products when I permit them to. Be on the look out~ "

While I was looking through the information on boutiques AND oogling over the "add all these products to IMVU cart" link, all my ideas suddenly came together. Welcome to the future site of high quality designs from the "unseen." There are tons of non-pro devs out there who aren't getting enough exposure, yet their products are exceptional. At first I was simply thinging advertising, but after today I realized that there's a possibility that I could set up this page as a mini-catalogue. It's been nearly 5 months since I've conceived the idea of an offsite catalogue for my IMVU products, and now I think it's time to open the doors to other developers. Since the boutique setup gives me 5% from sales, I feel that I will be able to offer this service for free. Just remember to have a link up. ;D Plus, if people bookmark this site, they'll still be able to look through products when the IMVU site is down.
So what does everyone think of this idea? *if anyone even reads this e.e* Also note that I may have to move this site if there's a real strain on this server's DB... but I don't think it will be a problem."

Here's some good news though. The official "grand opening" for this site is coming soon. I'd like to run a contest or something when it opens. If you're a regular user of Miscellany Time forums (www.miscellanytime.com) then you can post contest ideas in my forum. If not... then join already!"

There will be three versions, one for my own reference (in case I ever have amnesia or something), one for my coming dev group, and another for the general public. It's just a little something to get people started. XD There's plenty of room for creativity and the best part is that it's beginner friendly (which explains why it's so long...) and it has lots of pictures! So hopefully I'll have up a public version within a couple of days."

Well, I know I haven't updated in a little while, but after I'm done with a bunch of stuff I've been working on I'll be updating. I finally got the scene sorta done, so I'll be finished soon. Can't wait to have an official release for this site. XD"
